If you find a savannah, completely explore it for Beefalo. I usually eat at day break, make a quick fire, cook and eat enough berries, and then abandon the fire pit and keep moving along. coverage and distance is more important than exploring and knowing what is exactly in each biome. Your mission is to cover territory and find biomes. create and always have two torches and keep running the coast. but don't let collecting any of these things tie you down for too long. I collect grass, twigs, flint, and berries as I go (I ignore carrots if possible), you'll likely want to get a full set of grass and twigs, a healthy amount of flint, and enough berries to keep you fed. also including swamp biomes into the mix as well. Beefalo in the savannah biomes and rock biomes or if I'm Wickerbottom I look for three. Here's what I do:Ĭurrently I look for two things. Once you get to building structures and especially when the rough seasons hit it's much harder to travel and map out the territory. I also endorse an "as early as possible" coastal walk too.
